Spring has arrived

...at least that's what the calendar says.  As I sit here in Maryland, looking out the window of the dining room at my sister's house, it is snowing.  So, maybe spring has been delayed in Maryland. It is rather close to Pennsylvania, where that pesky groundhog lives.

At Sweet T's Quilting, however, spring has sprung.  New fabric colors are soaking in dye right now and there will be a reveal on Sweet T's Facebook Page tomorrow.  There is a really pretty light blue color brewing, and I think it will be lovely.

The second Choose Your Own Adventure pattern is mostly done and will be released in the next week or so.  There are daffodils, tulips, dandelions, butterflies, dragonflies, bunnies, and baby chicks mixed in with traditional and modern quilting designs.  It will be a lot of fun to quilt.

Cindy Rich, of Twisted Sister Quilting, is using the first Choose Your Own Adventure pattern to create her own mini whole cloth.  Follow her on her page to see her progress.

A new mandala pattern is ready for printing and it is fabulously feathered. I think you will all love it.  It is very classy and elegant.

I will be back home March 30th, so I apologize for any delays in your orders.  My mother's health had to take priority.

What's going on in your world?  I would love to hear from you.

Love,
Teresa

Quilting for a living- the dream come true (I hope)

Well, a strange set of circumstances led to me quitting my teaching job.  While I do love teaching, it has become so stressful to set foot in a classroom lately.  So, I have applied to sub until next school year starts.  BUT, I would rather make enough income from quilting and pattern design to be able to never go back into a classroom.

I tell you all this to let you know that I am now available 24/7 for quilting, teaching classes, pattern design, and fabric dying.  I have two customer quilts to finish right now and I have been working hard this past week on my own patterns and quilt kits.  Be sure to visit the store to see what is new.
